By Rishika Dubey

The demise of the veteran actor has cringed the heart of one and all. There's no denying the fact that the world lost one of its finest artists, last evening.

Born in the year 1967, Sahabzade Irfan Ali Khan, was initially inclined towards cricket. He then moved to acting after his scholarship from NSD.

He started his acting career from daily soaps like Chandrakanta and Chanakya. He debuted in Bollywood with the movie 'Salaam Bombay'. He got his big break from his role in the movie Maqbool. Irfan made it to the heart of the country with movies like Lunchbox, Piku, The Namesake, Hindi Medium and many more. He got internationally recognized with movies like Life of a pi, The Jurassic Period, Slumdog Millionaire, Amazing Spiderman.

He was presented with Filmfare best actor award for the movie Hindi Medium in 2018. His last movie Angrezi Medium, which was released on 13th March, 2020 has garnered good reviews from the critics. He was awarded with Padma Shri in the year 2011. He took to Twitter to openly talk about his cancer before the release of Angrezi Medium.

From not having money to watch Jurassic Park to being a part of the franchise and declining movie like Interstellar for his Bollywood commitments, this man has done it all. The world of art can never be the same, a void that can never be filled again. We, the team of Midage pay our condolences to his entire family.
