Meghalaya's Anisha Sohtun lends voice to 'Hum Hai Yuva' song

She also became the first in her tribe to sing alongside Bollywood singers in the patriotic rendition

Shillong: Anisha Sohtun from Meghalaya achieved an impressive feat by becoming the first in her tribe to lend her voice alongside Bollywood singers for a Hindi patriotic song 'Hum Hai Yuva' which was released ahead of Independence Day today.

She recently worked as a female vocalist for the song with Akhilesh Jain and Pushkar Deshmukh from Mumbai.

The launching of the video song “Hum Hai Yuva” was held this afternoon at the office chamber of Banteidor Lyngdoh in the presence of Urban Affairs minister Hamletson Dohling.

“Hum Hai Yuva” (We are Youths ) is a joint venture between Aura Mx Entertainment, Mumbai, Maharashtra and Killerna6 Art, Shillong, Meghalaya.

The song is all about the youths and its love towards the nation ( India ), lyrics by Karan Kashyap Bollywood writer and director Sang by Akhilesh Jain and Anisha Sohtun, Remix by Pushkar Deshmukh, Composed by Akhilesh Jain Directed & developed by Manna Sangma.
