Mahurat of ‘Dr Bezbaruah II’ to be held at Jyoti Chitraban in Guwahati

Guwahati: The Mahurat of ‘Dr Bezbaruah II’ to be held on Thursday, at around 12 pm at Jyoti Chitraban Film Studio in Guwahati.

The original ‘Dr. Bezbaruah’ was released on November 7, 1969, was not only the first thriller and the first visibly successful commercial movie in the state, but it also marked the 10th time an Assamese movie was honoured with the National Film Award. Produced under the banner of Rang Ghar Cine Production, it was directed by Brajen Barua.

Last month, AM Television Pvt Ltd announces the sequel ‘Dr. Bezbaruah II’ to be produced under its banner, presented by Dr. Sanjive Narain and co-produced by Dr. Akshata Narain in association with NR Motion Pictures.
