Mob torches Assam Rifles vehicles, after villager shot dead

The victim was a temporary worker and the father of two children. Police reported on Saturday that an Assam rifle team commander reportedly shot and killed a villager in the Kampoppi district of Manipur on Friday night. The victim was identified as Mangboilal Lhouvum (30 years old) in Charva Village, a subsidiary of the Campobi Police Department. He is a salaried worker and father of two children.
