At least six people were removed and play was suspended for more than eight minutes at the Sydney Cricket Ground on the fourth day of the third Test between Australia and India after Indian paceman Mohammed Siraj complained to the umpires about alleged abuse from the fan stands.
Following the incident, Cricket Australia's Head of Integrity and Security Sean Carroll said, "Cricket Australia condemns in the strongest terms possible all discriminatory behaviour. If you engage in racist abuse, you are not welcome in Australian cricket."
Sunday's incident follows the alleged racial abuse of Indian players by a small section of the SCG crowd on Saturday.
