The Story of This Guy From Bhopal Is Winning Hearts As He Coverts His Auto Into An Ambulance Service To Help Covid Victims

A name that has constantly been praised over the past few days on social media-Mohammad Javed, an auto rickshaw driver from Bhopal, who has turned his auto into an ambulance to help the covid affected patients is a living example of humanity.

But how did such a Nobel idea strike his mind? The story of this guy will melt your heart and restore your faith in humanity.

This 34-year-old, had been the only earner of his family after his father’s demise. But following the pandemic in April 2020, his life changed as he was left with no work or savings. However, after witnessing the plight of the migrants, he thought to help them.

“I registered myself with an NGO that was providing ration to migrants–I offered to distribute it for free using my rickshaw. For 2.5 months, I used up all my savings on fuel; the NGO helped my family with ration.”

Javed’s urge to help people increased only when he saw on TV how people were denied ambulance service because they did not have money. This is when he thought of converting his three wheeler vehicle into an ambulance. He equipped it with an oxygen cylinder, an oximeter and other medical supplies.

“So the next day, I spread the word online that my free auto ambulance was ready for service 24*7. I didn’t want to compromise my family’s safety, so I sent them away to my relatives.”

Over the last two weeks, Javed has managed to transport almost 150 people and set an example of true inspiration.

He urges citizens to stay at home, and help people in these tough times. “Jo ghar ke bahar nahi nikal paa rahe madad karne, woh corona kaal ke heroes ko ghar beth ke hi support karien,” he concludes.
