Tinsukia: Demanding immediate intervention by the Tinsukia Administration and justice for a lady from Philobari area near Doomdooma, the All Assam Gorkha Students’ Union (AAGSU) called for 12 hr Tinsukia District Bandh on Friday.
As per reports, the lady identified as Pramila Chetri died at Ojha Nursing Home in Doomdooma, thus, leading to outrage among the local people in Philobari area.
The student's body accused Dr. Prakash Gupta of wrong treatment which led to the death of Pramila Chetri.
In a memorandum, the body has earlier demanded a compensation of Rs 50 lakh from the District Authority to the kins of the deceased.
They further demanded the closure of the Ojha Nursing Home and cancelation of the license of the concerned doctor for his medical negligence.
