CM Sarbananda Sonowal inspects erosion hit areas in Dibrugarh


Guwahati: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Monday inspected the erosion hit areas at Rohmoria, Dibrugarh with Union MoS Rameswar Teli, State WRD Minister Keshab Mahanta & MLA Rituparna Baruah.

Chief Minister Sonowal has directed the officials to immediately carry out repair works & take necessary anti-erosion measures at the earliest.

CM Sonowal then visited a flood relief camp at Chabua, Dibrugarh and interacted with the people taking shelter there. He took stock of relief measures and directed district admin officials to ensure an uninterrupted supply of essentials & medicines.

After Chabua, CM Sonowal visited another flood relief camp at Bindhakota, Dibrugarh and took stock of relief measures and directed officials to take special care of children and the elderly residing in the camp, while ensuring proper hygiene and social distancing.
