Aizawl: As per government of Mizoram sources, 4 Assam Rifles and 10 National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) personnel were among the 22 new COVID-19 positive cases reported in in the state on Sunday. The new cases have raised the number of positive cases in the state to 186. The same has also been posted in the Government of Mizoram on Twitter by Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Mizoram.
As per the DIPR updated version, of the 22 new cases, 14 cases were from Aizawl and four cases each from two other districts.
Meanwhile, Khawzawl has become the fifth district in the state with no active cases after two more persons were discharged from Khawzawl District Hospital on Sunday. The other districts with no COVID-19 cases are Hnahthial, Saitual, Kolasib and Serchhip. So far 130 patients have recovered from COVID-19.
On the other hand, sources have informed that two BSF personnel have tested positive for COVID-19 at Lunglei district.
