Guwahati: Director Abhishek Kapoor is deeply saddened by Sushant Singh Rajput's sudden demise. He directed his first movie, Kai Po Che(2013), and worked together with him again in Kedarnath(2018).

Kapoor took to social media to mourn his death.

"I am shocked and deeply saddened by the loss of my friend. We made two very special films together. He was a generous and fabulous actor, who worked very hard to breathe life into his characters. I pray for his family, whose loss is unmeasurable. He was a huge Science buff and what consumed by what lay beyond in the universe. I'm going to miss you brother. Stay interstellar, " he wrote.

Abhishek also decided to feed 3400 families in memory of the actor.

In that regard, his wife, Pragya said, "It's our way of honouring him and his craft, everything he has done and achieved, to celebrate him and everything he stands for. As friends, it gives us something to hold on to."

Both of them also attended his funeral on the 15th of June.

Pragya's NGO Ek Saath: The Earth Foundation will supervise this charity. The main aim behind this is to help the ones who have lost their source of earning owing to the lockdown.
