AGP President Atul Bora chairs 1st meeting of newly constituted Central Committee
Guwahati: Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) President Atul Bora chaired its first meeting with the newly constituted Central Committee of the party and held a threadbare discussion on the future course of action.
Bora also urged every level of the organization right from the Pran Parishads to Bidhan & Zila Parishads to intensify public outreach.
Bora also informed that the induction of members through Mobile App will start from 15th December.
It may be mentioned that the Pran Parishad meetings are to be held on 18th & the same for Bidhan Parishads on 23rd of this month.
On the other hand, from January 1st to 15th of the next year every Panchayat Parishads shall reach out to min 500 households, informed Bora.

More Than 150 New Faces Have Also Joined AGP From Different Organisations
Guwahati: Popular singer and artiste Kalpana Patowary officially joins Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) today afternoon.
Informing about her joining, Asom Gana Parishad, President Atul Bora took to Twitter saying, “@BhojpuriQUEEN's voice has given life to our folk tunes across the globe. Her joining has enthused us all and I extend my best wishes for her journey ahead.”
Notably, more than 150 new faces have also joined AGP from different organisations.
Bora further tweets, “@agpofficial_ will always champion the cause of Assam, with utmost dedication to its multicultural, multi-ethnic, multilingual milieu.”
