International Yoga Day To Be Celebrated By Assam Yoga Association

 

Nagaon: Like previous years, Assam Yoga Association will celebrate 6th International Yoga Day on 21st June across the state as informed by General Secretary Prabhat Ch Bora. The occasion will be attended by more than 500 students and 100 Yoga teachers including office bearers of Assam Yoga Association & affiliated District Yoga Associations. The Common Yoga Protocol suggested by the Ministry of Ayush will be practiced from 6.45 AM.

The importance and need for practicing Yoga to stay fit and healthy is known to all. Yoga is a systematic and methodical process to control and develop the mind and body to attain good health, balance of mind and self-realization. It is necessary for every individual to stay fit and healthy in this fast-paced world which is full of stress and anxiety. The celebration of International Yoga Day is a reminder for all individuals to incorporate Yoga every day to enjoy a happy and blissful life and reduce the effect of stress and other physical ailments.
